There is a City God Temple (Chenghuang Miao) in Shanghai. The temple also well known called as Yuyuan Garden, which is  the street the tourist must go to.
When you got off a taxi, you will see the whole street of antique buildings. Mainly in purple hue, with the unique of the tilt on the roof.  The more famous old shops are all located in the inner circle of Yuyuan Garden, some new stores are located outside of the streets, the outer street the car can go.
Inside of Street, there are familiar Lao Fengxiang Jewelry Store, NanXiang Steamed Bun Restaurant, and even chopsticks shop with years of history, such professional shop is less and less in the past, so many visitors to Shanghai would buy a set of chopsticks here.
Yuyuan Garden was named after Yuyuan, this is a beautifully decorated ancient architecture, Yuyuan faced a clear water, and above the water is a zigzag bridge, the central surface of the water is very, very famous Mid-lake Pavilion Restaurant.
Mid-lake Pavilion Restaurant’s history is very long, a lot of celebrities come here to drink tea. According to the different tea, the prices is from nearly 100 Yuan RMB to several hundred Yuan RMB, including a cup of tea and some snacks – small rice dumplings, melon seeds or something. What to eat is not important, however, tea is really good tea, it is so great if you can sit near the window.
